Introduction
The Medical Device Technology program aims to graduate qualified technicians with the knowledge and skills to efficiently handle complex diagnostic and therapeutic devices, thereby improving and advancing healthcare. Medical technology is a comprehensive discipline that combines several branches of knowledge, integrating scientific knowledge with technological advancements and engineering skills.
The program consists of (140) credit hours, with Medical Device Technology courses constituting (90) credit hours of the total. The remaining credit hours are distributed among university courses, general college courses, core college courses, and specialty courses, spread over (9) semesters, followed by a year of field training (internship period) in an accredited hospital.

Medical Device Technology Program Outcomes
In line with the mission of the university and college, the objectives of the Medical Device Technology program are to:
• Provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the design, manufacture, operation, maintenance, and applications of diagnostic and therapeutic devices.
• Equip students with the fundamental skills that enhance the development of clinical, academic, and industrial facilities in the Kingdom.
• Provide students with the medical research skills and the skills necessary for evidence-based practice.
• Preparing students to be active members of multiple disciplines in conjunction with the healthcare team.
• Understanding scientific and technical advances and utilizing modern equipment to advance healthcare.
• Providing a foundation for continuing professional and personal education and professional development.
• Supporting the development of its graduates, teachers, researchers, experts, and consultants.
